This Privacy Policy describes how Racelytics (“we”, “the app”) handles information when you use our application. It is provided in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and, for users in the Netherlands, the Algemene verordening gegevensbescherming (AVG). By downloading or using the app, you agree to this policy.
The data controller responsible for personal data processed in connection with this app (other than data processed solely by Apple or RevenueCat under their own policies) is:
Blue Lake Apps

For privacy-related requests, contact us using the email address in the Contact section below.
Depending on how you use the app, the following categories of personal data may be processed:
| Category | Examples | Typical source |
|---|---|---|
| Purchase and entitlement data | Transaction identifiers, subscription status, trial eligibility (as provided by Apple to us or to RevenueCat) | Apple In-App Purchase, RevenueCat |
| Technical identifiers | Device or app-instance identifiers used by RevenueCat to link purchases to entitlements | RevenueCat SDK, Apple |
| Support communications | Email address and message content if you contact us | You |
| Telemetry and session content | Lap data, exports you create | Stays on your device unless you choose to export or share it; we do not receive this on our servers for normal app use |
We do not intentionally collect special categories of data (e.g. health) beyond what is inherent in generic racing telemetry you keep locally.
We process personal data only where we have a legal basis under the GDPR:
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|

| Responding to your support emails | Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) in assisting users, or performance of a contract where relevant |
| Complying with legal obligations (e.g. tax or accounting rules for commercial records) | Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) where applicable |
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we balance them against your rights; you may object to processing based on legitimate interests as described in the section Your rights under the GDPR / AVG below.
We do not receive your full payment card details; payment information is handled by Apple.
Racelytics is distributed through Apple’s App Store. Apple may display app information and handle App Store–related requests (e.g. data access); how Apple handles personal data in those contexts is described in Apple’s privacy policies (we provide a link under Purchases, free trials, and subscriptions above).
When you use the app:

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version in the same location (or replace the hosted page) and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy, except where applicable law requires additional steps.
